Something similar can happen to the anti-immigrant American "NumbersUSA."

"Numbers", its name in Spanish, has become famous for advocating among other things to be stripped of citizenship and therefore the country will take newborns in this region that are not children of an American citizen.

In that proposal is called the Birth Rights Act, but there are also the Suppression of Lottery, the End of the Chain, aimed at breaking the family unit, the CLEAR and SAVE to increase police chase and clean the streets of immigrant suspects.

With typical gringo simplistic, "Numbers" check numbers and notes that all the ills of this country come from immigration.

Contamination is the first calamity. The country is being polluted with so many people of color. But there are other mishaps attributable to new Americans, such as the economic bankruptcy, the disappearance of jobs, higher taxes, social security lean and perhaps even the disasters of war in the Middle East. They nearly say that the genocidal madman maybe Bin Laden called Panchito.

For "Numbers", it comes down to a truism arithmetic. According to their logic, immigration makes the population growth of the United States, and that means pollution, flooding in the cities, crime, unemployment and higher taxes for citizens to pay for living with so many people leaning.

Among the individuals and entities that have adopted this reasoning are, of course, the bestial "Minutemen", individuals volunteer border patrol to catch immigrants and torture or to push them infernal deserts where death is the safest.

Unfortunately, not only green-uniformed individuals with tattoos are his followers. On its website, NumbersUSA boasts the support of tens of Congress. But go, number by number, reeling off the simplistic mathematical Numbers.

His first concern is, supposedly, pollution, and the truth is that there is no necessary relationship between one or the other. Citing numbers from the Center for Immigration Policy and the World Resources Institute, the United States has 23 percent less people than all European nations and United, however, produces 70 percent more greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide.

In short, fewer people can pollute more, or vice versa. This is not how many people have a country, but how society produces and consumes.

Population and overflowing city dwellers have no relationship in common. The evil of the cities, the sprawl and traffic overwhelming one dependent model of sustainable development and polluter. That is, an urban planning has created suburbs away from "downtown" without buses or trains of mass communication, and more with garages from which they emerge every morning two or three huge car unnecessary for a small family.

The other number of "Numbers" is that immigrants steal jobs. Nothing is more false. Those who come in terms of manual workers generally take jobs that natives do not accept. For their part, professionals who are highly qualified arrive, and his arrival complements the work force and increases productivity and hence wages of nationals.

The "family chain migration" is also a two times two is five "NumbersUSA." A Latin American into a citizen takes more than seven years to get one of their unmarried children to be accepted legally. A permanent resident who comes from Mexico have to wait seventeen years for that.

Finally, the most common canard that immigrants are a tax burden because they earn little, pay little tax and social benefits do not cover they receive.

This is false: the "illegals" pay all taxes and receive no compensation. The laws are the ones who are going to balance the budget for Social Security and, through them, the explosion of retired baby boomers will have a secure income.

"Numbers" does not hold a swastika or burning cross, but conceals his racism through some very bad math learned.

"More or less ... Why ...?
